Samantha and Samuel were married at Regency Garden, a Mesa Arizona wedding venue, during their winter event full of rich desert tones and lush greens. This couple made some unique choices that made their wedding day completely special to them, such as a private first dance you will see in the gallery below. Throughout this lovely evening, their wedding day transformed from an elegant garden ceremony to a modern dance party – keep scrolling to see.

Garden Wedding Ceremony

Before the ceremony began, Samantha shared a touching first look with her dad. I thought this was such a sweet moment for them to spend together before he took her arm and walked her down the aisle.

The bride and groom were married under a gazebo in the courtyard at Regency Garden, while their guests wiped away happy tears. It was a loving and tight-knit group, and I was able to send Samuel and Samantha so many images showing how loved and supported they are.

Wedding Party Wearing Winter Tones

Regency Garden is full of dark green tones, complimented by the monochrome white floral installations by Arizona Wedding Florist Sydney Kerr. For her bridal party, Samantha choose mismatched bridesmaids dresses in winter desert tones such as rust, sage and mauve. Some even had minimal patterns, and they complimented each other and set the palette for this winter Arizona wedding.

Winter Reception at a Mesa Wedding Venue

If you haven’t realized by now, the bride and groom now share the same name! Sam Gibson “squared” as their fun custom wedding sign shows. Custom details like this transformed this Mesa wedding venue from a classic garden space to a modern reception with just the right elegant touches. All of these looks came together for a wedding reception that fit Samantha and Samuel perfectly. After a catered dinner and cake cutting, all of their guests came out to dance. Everyone had the time of their life, especially the flower girl!

A Private Dance in the Gazebo

My favorite choice Sam and Sam made on their wedding day was to share a private first dance while guests prepared for their exit. As everyone gathered with sparklers, the bride and groom snuck away to the gazebo for a quiet moment alone as their wedding day came to a close.

I love seeing the unique details each couple use to make their wedding day like no other. It was a joy to travel to capture this Arizona wedding for Samantha and Samuel. If you are currently planning your 2023 wedding, click here to learn more about my availability for your special day.
